This is the first Max tape in some time I have reviewed and most of my usual readers will know that I have been quite hard on Mr. Hardcore of late. I was such a big fan at one time, watching some of the stuff that he does now has been particularly disappointing. So, why this tape? Why now? Two reasons really. First, I still get tons of mail asking me to keep reviewing Max’s work, even if I don’t rate it highly any longer. So, I do what the readers want. Secondly, and to be honest, more importantly, I grabbed this tape because Alex Dane is it. I have yet to see a tape starring Alex that wasn’t worth a look and I am hoping she is enough of a reason to sit through this whole tape.
We begin with Max at a big porn party, and I have to take my hat off to him. At least Max has a sense of humor about himself and it comes through in this mini report. Before too long, Max heads out on a booze run, but is cut off by the arrival of a cute little thing named Alice. Of course, Max has to take advantage of the situation and put Alice through a little screen test. When the picture is free of effects, the dildo assisted DP is pretty fucking hot. Up until now, things look pretty good, but when Max gets her in a piledriver position, the lame shit begins. OK, either she is a mental patient, or this is an over the top pedo set up. See, this is how the whole scene should have been. No mutilation, just letting Alex Dane be the center of attention in great anal action. Half of the aforementioned RCA footage is ruined by the speculum, but when that gets tossed aside, the action is awesome. (Which, by the way, I think she is.) Alice is rather cute in a ‘Sporty Spice’ kind of way. It is the great cast that makes the failure of this video all the more tragic. To fuck up a scene with Alex Dane, you have to do some pretty vile shit, and Max does just that. Finally, just so you don’t think I’m totally picking on Max, I understand that he is doing what he does for a certain market, and he is welcome to make any movie he likes. I am just one guy, with one opinion, but from where I sit, there is nothing erotic about this kind of shit, and won’t be watching another Max tape for quite some time.
