Weekend Wrap Up, Safado Berlin & Baseball

Weekend Wrap Up: Another mostly football weekend for me. On Saturday I was once again privileged to attend the USC game. It was another scary week for the Trojans. After that mess against Stanford, another upset seemed very possible until the fourth quarter. It was an exciting game and certainly not the sort of dominating performance we have come to expect from this team in recent year. But hey, a win is a win. The game ended early enough for us to enjoy the finish of that fantastic LSU-Kentucky game. Wow that was exciting. By the time I got home, it was just in time to watch ESPN flash that final highlight of Cal choking their shot at number one away as the clock ticked away. So the crazy year continue, we’re back to Ohio State at number one and South Florida at number two. South Florida? Yeah who would have thought that? I guess the Sooners and Trojans picked a good year to choke in early game. They both might be able to climb back into the picture. Somehow I get the feeling that whoever finishes on top will not be undefeated and talk of a playoff system will once again fill sports talk radio in the month of December. This week; USC-Notre Dame.

Eye Candy: Since tomorrow is my birthday, how about this from the wish list Nautica Thorn getting down and dirty.

Fashionistas Safado: Berlin: OK, with all the bad porn news it would be easy to forget that October has been a great month for movies. The latest big hit may be the bet of them all. John Stagliano’s highly anticipated Fashionistas Safado: Berlin is upon us and it is every bit as good as we could have hoped for. The review pretty much covers everything, including a really long open that may or may not be way off. (Sorry guys I was watching the Godfather trilogy just a few days before and may have gotten a bit carried away.) In this chapter, Stagliano combines the fetish elements with the sex perfectly and brings the story to a very satisfying conclusion. I know it’s early, but I don’t think it would be a stretch to consider this the leading contender for movie of the year. Great job by John and everyone at Evil Angel who worked on the film. It’s very, very impressive.

Eye Candy: OK you guy liked the Lisa Ann gallery so here is Ava Devine from MILFs Like it Big.

Baseball: The Colorado Rockies? Really? Come on, who had them even in the playoffs a month ago? Wow, what a turn around. And the Red Sox look a bit stressed now that they are down 2-1. A big turnaround from last week when they smacked the Angels. Don’t you just know that guys in the MLB offices are killing themselves imagining a Colorado/Cleveland World Series. No major market, no name stars. No audience. Never mind that it should be a good match up. The numbers will be just deadly. Just goes to show that it isn’t the best team all year, it’s the best team at the right time.

Gram Ponante is My Hero: Many of you know that I have a great deal of respect for Gram. His work makes me laugh as often as it makes me think and he often pull that off simultaneously. A while back Gram got into it on set with Kurt Lockwood. Strike that. Gram was on set when Kurt decided to pick a playground fight and throw a tantrum. Luke Ford got it all on tape and a legend was born. (Not sure whose legend yet, but we’re working on that.) Now it seems that Gram has run afoul with none other than Alt-porn giant Eon McKai. You can read their exchange Here. I just want to say that Gram is my freaking hero. Not because he finally got around to trashing the wunderkind of the alt-porn train wreck, but because he sticks to his guns and dishes things out in a way that some people just can’t understand. Look at it again. Is Eon’s reaction really all that different than Kurt’s? I’d say it’s worse actually. Kurt was under the impression that someone had called his sexuality into question. All Gram did was fairly review a movie. I’ve had my share of alt-hate after trashing the disastrous Neu Wave Hookers. No calls or emails from Eon to me though. I’d say it’s because he doesn’t know I exist, but I know that isn’t true. We happen to know some of the same people so I got to hear about his reaction. Frankly I don’t care. I write what I think and if that upsets some people, I’m sorry. This isn’t about me or the people who hate me. This is about Gram and how much awesome his responses were. When you compare it to Eon’s it really makes you think…..more on that later perhaps.

Eye Candy: It seems like it has been a while since we have seen just how awesome Bree Olsen really is. Enjoy.

Horror Fest: Because man can not live on porn alone, I’m going to spend a few day next month taking in some non-adult movies. I talked about the 8 Films to Die For festival last year. (Official Web Site) I am a big horror fan and was geeked up to see some good fright flicks that aren’t as hyped as the stuff at Blockbuster. I had some stuff come up that weekend and missed the whole thing. Not this year baby. I’m treating myself to a pass to the event for my birthday and even got Mrs. Rog to agree to come along. Eight horror movies in three days? How cool is that? They are adding new theaters all the time, but right now they have most of SoCal covered. If any of you plan on attending and don’t mind driving down to OC, let me know. We can hit the movies together. (Ivan, are you listening?) If you’re going to go, but not in my area, let me know. I’d love to put something together on the forum about the festival. It should be fun.

Eye Candy: What better way to end a day than with Jenna Haze doing her best to be an Anal Hooker. Worth every penny.
