NEW WAVE HOOKERS IN A BRAND NEU LIGHT
(HOLLYWOOD, CA) This might be the biggest gamble of them all. VCA Pictures’ executives however seem to have a repressed smile on their face as they gear up for what is quickly shaping up to be the new year’s biggest release or rebirth of one of porn’s most defining motion pictures.
Neu Wave Hookers is coming January 17th and if you didn’t know, now you do!
20 years ago, the imaginative New Wave Hookers stopped everybody in their tracks by taking sex movies to a place nobody thought they could go. The public’s conscious was awakened and the porn genre was expanded paving the way for a new era of creation.
Flash forward twenty years from the original release and VCA Pictures is at it again only this time they are looking to the past as they move forward into uncharted territory with the January 17th release of the big budget original porn experience Neu Wave Hookers.
If seminal director Gregory Dark, who directed the original New Wave Hookers in 1985, can go on to a successful directing career that includes wholesome pop music videos for the likes of Britney Spears and Mandy Moore, then why can’t a new generation lead by alternative porn director Eon McKai borrow from the past to create something that is new again. Or in this case that something is neu which McKai is fashioning with the brilliant and funny forthcoming release of Neu Wave Hookers from VCA Pictures.
“This is not a remake,” stated the 26 year old McKai whose love of history and music is driving this creation. “I saw the potential to make something that not only lives up to its arty title, but also totally represents my generation.”
Confident yet still searching, McKai is part and parcel to a generation XXX that favors free expression showcased with tattoos, body piercing, original music and a familial gathering of ideas and philosophies that are expressed, discussed and debated. This is a new culture which has been labeled by many as alternative and in the case of adult movie entertainment, the lively tag of alt-porn has been pinned as some type of badge that only those who are truly of that ilk, can wear.
Neu Wave Hookers is a fast throttled romp with a happy hooker style cast that includes best new starlet of the year contender Joanna Angel, Riley Mason, Nyomi Zen, Sierra Sin, Justine Jolie, Felix Vicious and Tiger who hang out sharing wild sex stories as they work their way through the underground Los Angeles music scene. It’s the girls who accidentally stumble upon a VHS copy of the original New Wave Hookers at a garage sale that is the catalyst that ignites the craziness.
“There is nothing like Neu Wave Hookers out there. No one has ever worked with a company’s own history in a porno movie. It was so much fun to dig through the archives of such an old company and then make a porno movie about it. Don’t worry, just because its history, don’t even think we’re starting to take our selves too seriously,” McKai offered as he prepared to enter an LA hotspot frequented by those people.
Neu Wave Hookers ultimately will appeal to a wide audience because it will affect those who like good old fashioned story telling. Only in this case, the girls and their pierced sexual organs will be treated to a barrage of hardcore sex that rivals anything the industry has put out.
“This is going to be a great one,” stated a smiling Peter Reynolds, VCA’s head of sales and marketing. “I just watched the first edit and I couldn’t be happier with the entire project.”
Maybe it’s time to have a little fun with our porn, at least that’s what McKai thinks as he continues on his madcap adventurous run of great porn movies that are unlike anything we have in our closets.
