Since I just reviewed Burning Angel’s “The XXXorcist” I figured this would be a really good time to check out their last big project. It’s another horror porn with plenty of blood and gore. I actually never saw the mainstream original, “Re-Animator” but I understand it’s quite a classic. (And I had a severed head paperweight that came with movie back in my video store clerk days.) The whole movie apparently is a scene pulled from the Burning Angel web site, so it won’t take long to get through it. After the last movie, it is safe to say that this will have a rather limited audience, but that it will probably delight that small crowd to no end.
This time Tommy plays a mad scientist trying to create a formula for immortality. Joanna is the slab of meat he has lying on his table. He pumps her full of his serum and she immediately comes back to life. What is the point of bringing a hot chick back from the dead if she isn’t going to be cock crazed? She goes after his dick and with blood smeared everywhere, the fun begins. The fore factor is quite high and it is very easy to see how this scene captured the title of “Most Outrageous Se Scene.” I don’t know how many people are dying to watch these two hump in a pool of blood and guts, but if that turns your crank, then prepare to be cranked right on out of your seat. Even made up to be a walking corpse, Joanna looks hot. She takes a hard-core pounding from behind and then gets on top. If you take away the gore, this is a good hard gonzo scene. I suppose that is a really good thing. That means that those people looking for this special fetish aren’t going to feel cheated by lame sex. When the sex ends at eighteen minutes, the real gore kicks in. I don’t want to ruin it for you, but she rips the fuck out of him and we get a damn fine arterial spray before she disembowels him. Hey, I’m a big fan of horror flicks and ripping the guts out of certain meat puppets, so how could I not love this ending?

The “Screening” cut of the movie: This is a much shorter version, with just about nine minutes of sex and a less integrated sex/gore ending.
Behind the Scenes: This is a nice little look at the making of the movie and features great interviews with Angel, Pistol and Sakmann. Anyone who has any interest in film making will enjoy this unique peek at the making of a hard core fuck/gore fest.
Trailers: Get a glimpse at The XXXorcist as well as what looks to be a punk rock horror flick from BA.
Commentaries: There are two different running commentaries to listen to. Angel and Pistol take care of one track while the other features the director’s in depth look at his creation.
Boner Footage: In addition to the Re-Penetrator scene, we get three bonus fucks on this DVD. Though none of them fall into the same porn-horror genre, all three have a Burning Angel flavor. Joanna Angel fans will love the fact that they get another few chances to spank it to her. She’s really hot so it’s kind of nice to watch her fuck without blood dripping from every orifice.
This is another horror-porn that will delight Burning Angel fans. It is a great flick to put on in the background at a party, but it isn’t going to score big points with the jerk-off crowd. I like Joanna, but I Actually enjoy seeing her fuck without all the blood. This isn’t supposed to be a standard porn flick so let’s just deal with it for what it is. It’s campy, it’s funny, it’s gross, it’s impressive on that level and it’s about as sexy as a butcher training video. Enjoy it for what it is and if you want to see Joanna doing something a bit more strokeable, go for “Cum on My Tattoo 2.”
