Ashley, Kaitlyn– Unquestionably a first ballot Hall of Fame performer based on her body of work, which included over 100 films and earned her an AVN Female Performer of the Year for 1996, but also a shoe in for being at the top of Rog’s all time personal favorites list. From the moment I saw her scene in Sodomania 6, I was taken. From that day forth, Kaitlyn has been the number one porn star in my eyes. That scene still has the very best facial cumshot I have ever seen. Byron, Tom (Performer) Tom’s been making porn movies for as long as I’ve been watching them and he’s still going strong. Holmes, John– Beyond question, the most famous woodsman in the history of porn. His name is legend, his cock, nothing short of mythological. His story is filled with questions and controversy, but when it comes to porn studs, one name stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Jeremy, Ron– Say what you want about Ron in his current state, but few male performers have been able to perform at his level for half as long as Ron has been laying wood. In the good old days, Ron was slimmer, funny and one of the best male performers in the biz. Even now, he manages to make the average porn fan that they have a chance. After all, if the Hedgehog can get laid, anyone can.
Leslie, John– (Director) After years as one of porn’s finest actors, Leslie got behind the camera in the late eighties and immediately showed his aptitude for plot drive porn. Lords, Traci– Controversy aside, Traci Lords is still one of the most memorable performers of her time. With video on the rise, Traci and fellow Hall of Famers Ginger Lynn helped launch a porn revolution that, for better or worse, took smut from darkened theaters and into virtually every living room in America. Though her movies have since been pulled from the shelves, few will ever forget her sexy pout, sexy screams and perfect rack.
Lynn, Ginger– Along with Marilyn Chambers, Ginger is the most influential and popular porn star of all time. She was the video age’s first and brightest star, helping to put Vivid Video on the map. An amazing combination of girl next door looks with total sexual abandon, Ginger did facials before they were the norm and took it in the ass when only B Girls did A. Fifteen years later, she still tops the list of porn stars I’d love to roll in the hay with.
Miami Spice– Not nearly as ground breaking as some of the other inductees, this movie is still a perfect example of mid eighties plot porn. Like it’s mainstream namesake, Spice is more style than substance, trading meaningful plot and characters for boat chases and synthesizer pop in the background. Amber Lynn and Sheri St. Claire play the leads in this movie and both turn in some of the hottest scenes of their careers. Candy Evans and Jeanette Littledove add some wonderful sexual background as well.
New Wave Hookers– Slick, Dark, Funny, Filthy and undeniably brilliant, this Dark Brothers classic is perhaps their best work. Known for poking fun at just about everyone, the brothers have Jamie Gillis and Jack Baker playing imaginary pimps turning young girls into mindless fuck machines. Ginger Lynn’s DP is legendary and though edited out of current versions, Traci Lords as a horny devil is equally blistering.
Stagliano, John– Few directors in the history of porn have mastered so many different genres as Stagliano. His feature work is as good as anyone ever, with such classics as Face Dance, Mystic Pieces, Shadow Dancers and the original Gang Bangs. Add to that his revolutionary contributions to gonzo are unparalleled. Buttman is perhaps the most recognizable name in porn, helping to launch the Evil Empire.
Welles, Tori– When Ginger, Traci and Marilyn left the business, there was a huge void in the hearts and minds (as well as laps) of porn fans everywhere. Enter Tori Welles, an exotic looking beauty with enough sexual energy to take on the fifth fleet and still want more. Tori showed off her acting skills in John Leslie’s ‘The Chameleon’ and in a number of Vivid titles. Her beauty and sexual skills are legendary, securing her place as one of the all time greats.
