If you haven’t seen the first Emma Marx movie I would recommend you pick it up or watch it on VOD before trying this one. Not because you have to watch it to get the story. You can pick on up on it fine, but the movies do play best when viewed together and in context. That says a lot about the deep storytelling and character development brought to us by Jacky St. James.

We can always count on Brad Armstrong to hit us with at least one big movie around awards time. Aftermath is the latest in a long line of impressive efforts. This one relies less on big budget effects and more on a very solid coming of age story. It touches on some heavy subjects and walks he line nicely between romantic and edgy.

I watched this movie almost a year ago at award time. I was super impressed then and watching it again now, I am even more blown away. The writing and acting in this movie are among the best I have seen in years. The two leads, Remy LaCroix and Xander Corvus are perfect.
This is one of the most highly decorated titles of 2013. I’m a little late on the review, though I watched it during the big AVN Awards rush. It was one of my favorite movies last year and stands up as one of the best written and finely acted features in recent memory. The cast is small, but very impressive. Penny Pax and Richie Calhoun play the leads in this BDSM romance.

This was a cute story in New Sensations Romance line. Plot was predictable but that is the way things work in romantic comedies and porn since you know ahead of time that the guy has to get the girl. The basic storyline is that Ryan Mclane plays Martin, an up and coming associate attorney who is on the fast track to making partner. The video opens up with a montage of several of Martin’s previous dates, all of whom are strong contenders for the Date from hell awards.

Smash Pictures has shifted gears recently and is focusing a lot of energy on couples-friendly features. That’s a pretty smart business move on their part. With so much porn being stolen on tube and torrent sites these days, the portion of the porn audience willing to pay for their erotic entertainment is shrinking. Thankfully the couples market isn’t as likely to sit in front of a computer screen and watch low quality streaming free stuff.
