Q: I have looked all over and I can't find a copy of Gang Bang Girl 20 from Anabolic. What's the story? Why doesn't anyone have it?
There were some legal issues with this movie due to the visible Harley-Davidson logos in it. It was pulled from the shelves and some sort of settlement was released. Along with Butt Banged Cycle Sluts, GBG 20 is pretty much gone. If you want to find a copy you are going to have try your local smut shack or check ebay to see if you can find a copy.
Q: What is up with you can double-vag/double-anal? Why do you hate it so much?
It's not that I hate it. There is nothing wrong with it. I just don't like watching it. We all have things that we like to see and things that don't turn us on. Two dicks into one hole just doesn't look like fun to me. It does not turn me on to see two guys rubbing their dicks together. That they are inside a girl's ass doesn't make it any more appealing than if they were just standing there slow dancing with each other.
Q: Are you ever in your chat room?
I am sometimes, but I have to admit that there are no set times for chat. I pop in from time to time and have seen people conversing. If people want a set time I am open to that. Or you can just drop me an email me and if I am on, I will pop in.
Q: Have you ever thought about putting up a What Ever Happened To (WEHT) section on your site? I would sure like to know what ever became of April West or Barbara Dare.
Actually it is suggested to me at least once a week. Everyone wants to know where their favorite porn queen has gone. I'm the same way. I want to know where Kelli Richards ended up? Or what happened to Candi Evans. The problem is that most of the womn we woner about have sort of vanished. They retire, get married, have regular jobs and mostly don't want to be found. If they were easy to find, we wouldn't have to wonder WEHT to them, right? It is something I will continue to consider, but I'm afraid it is almmost impossible to track some of them down.
Q: Where can I find out more about a particular performer/studio/director?
The best place of course is to go to their own web site. But assuming you have tried that, there are a number of good resources on the web. You can get a great list of performers and directors as well as reviews and other info at RAME.NET For more great information on studios, peformers, directors and even a few visits from industry insiders, try www.AdultDVDTalk.com. Of course you can always just drop me an email with your question and I will do my best to find the answer for you.
Q: I just noticed (after reading your
interview with Kitty Marie) that you wrote the script for Team Spirit.
That is totally cool! Have you written any other scripts?
Yes I have
actually. I wrote
"Jimmy Bone in Search of Awesome Pussy" for VCA,
"Guilty Pleasures" for Wicked
as well as "Behind the Counter"
"Wanderlust",
"Freak Show",
"Team Spirit"
"Whoriental Sex Academy 2" and
"Sin Twins" for Sin City,
Also
Puritan 36 was originally a feature I wrote, but I heard they
cut it up.
I've been hoping that a reader or two might review these titles
so I have reviews for people to compare with mine. If anyone has any
questions about the movies, shoot them over. (The best? The best
script is Guilty Pleasures, the best movie? Well that depends.)
There may be a couple more on
the way if things go well. Also, anyone reading who does features or
scripted vignettes, let me know. I work quickly and some say I even
work cheap.
Q: Where can I buy XXXXX Movie/DVD?
There are a number of good on line sites to buy
movies/DVDs. You may notice that on some of the movies, I have a where to buy
link. I also have a page full of links to on line stores. (Here)
Some of them have affiliate programs where I get a percentage of sales, some
don't. I have checked out all the sites and they have been good to this point.
If you have any feedback on any of these sites, please let me know.
Q: Who are your favorite/best directors?
These will always change slightly, but there are
a few names that really stand out. I consider John Leslie and
John Stagliano to
be the finest porn directors of all time. They have both mastered all types of
porn. Both Johns have made some of the very best "features" in porn
history. (Leslie with movies like
The Chameleon and Chameleons, Stagliano with
Face Dance and Mystic Pieces) Beyond that, they both know how to shoot all sex
and gonzo movies as well. Stagliano revolutionized gonzo with his Buttman
character and Leslie's
Voyeur series
is one of the finest porn has ever seen.
Beyond those two, there are many directors I like, all with their own special
genres. For plot driven porn, Paul Thomas, Greg Steel, Jonathan Morgan, Michael
Zen, Nic Cramer and Veronica Hart are all quite good. For pure gonzo movies,
Seymore Butts, Ben Dover and Shane do it best. Michael Ninn makes the best
'style' porn movies. Andrew Blake makes great looking art movies. For pure sex,
the list is even longer,
Tom Byron, Chris Alexander, Jim Powers, Pierre Woodman,
Alex Ladd,
Vince Vouyer,
Mike John,
Patrick Collins and many, many
others.
Maybe that didn't answer the question, so I'll
have to do a top ten or something.
Q: How do I get started reviewing porn?
The short, though not as snippy as it sounds
answer is, you just do it. I mean, those of you asking 'how do I do what you do'
are going to be in for a let down. You have to do what is right and real for
you. I didn't start out writing like anyone else, or with a site that was like
any other, so I would encourage anyone with the time and desire to do their own
thing. I just started posted into newsgroups and R.A.M.E.
(rec.arts.movies.erotica) is the best one going for porn movie stuff. Web
hosting is a lot cheaper now then when I started and many of you will have a lot
better web design skills. Mostly, just write in a style that is comfortable for
you. I write nearly 2,000 words with a lot of description and personal feelings
put into every review. Other reviewers use a lot fewer words and rank movies
based on other criteria. Just find something that works for you and be honest.
It may not be the easy way, but it's the best way to give readers something of
value.
Q: Is it true you're a conservative?
No, that's not true. I will use large and small
letters to try and clear up that perception. I am not a Conservative, nor am I a
Liberal. If anything, I am a Moderate. I do have some conservative views (Very
pro-death penalty and a mostly conservative economic belief.) I also have some
liberal views. (Pro-Same Sex Marriage, Pro-Choice). The funny thing is, I don't
really have many moderate views, yet I am tagged a Moderate. My views are quite
close to the Libertarian Party line, though I have not fully made the leap from
registered Republican to Lib yet. So, yes I am a Republican, but no, I am not a
Conservative.
Q: Have Janine or Felecia Ever Done Guys?
The only Janine performance to date with a male
is in the "Janine and Vince" Hawaii movie. (Review)
I have heard that Felecia did one in an Ed Powers movie, though I can't say I
remember which one. From what I hear, Janine's new contract with Digital
Playground won't be breaking her no-guys rule, so the Vince movie is all we've
got.
Q: What movie should I rent to watch with my girlfriend/wife?
A: This is far and away the most common question I have been asked in the
last four years and it's a difficult one to answer. I usually respond with a
question of my own. "What does your girlfriends/wife like to watch?"
Most critics will automatically say that something by Andrew Blake is great
chick porn, but my wife happens to be totally uninterested in lesbian sex
scenes, so Blake's mostly girl/girl movies don't work around my house. So, in
answer the question, I usually throw out a few different titles, ask the couple
to watch them and tell me what they thought. From there, I can figure out other
similar titles. Generally I recommend,
Bad Wives,
Mobster's Wife and
Seven Deadly Sins from Vivid,
Conquest,
Double Feature,
Indigo Delta
and Blind Date from Wicked,
Chameleon from VCA,
Zazel from Metro and
Night Trips by
Andrew Blake. Also, anything from the
Shane's World series for a younger, more
Gen X couples feel. I don't like all of these movies, but they are a good
cross section of couples porn and can usually lead me to better answer the
question.

Q: Is this your job or your hobby?
A: I suppose now it's a little of both. It started out as a
writing exercise
based on a hobby, but has evolved a bit. I still have a 9-5 job and
office/warehouse manager for a small software firm, and do all of my reviews and
interviews in my 'spare' time. Some sites do pay me to run my reviews and there
are links on this site which bring in some money. It's not my full time job,
though it easily takes up as much time.
Q: Who is your all time favorite porn star?
A: That's easy.
Kaitlyn Ashley.
Hands down. (A top ten is a better discussion
and we'll get to that at some point.) Has been since just about the first time I
saw her and still is, even three years after her retirement.
Q: How did you get started with this?
A: It started as a cure for writers block. I was working on some other
projects and would come home every night and write in a journal as a warm up.
One day, I was reading alt.sex.movies and found some reviews of porn flicks.
I've always loved movies and porn, so I decided to review some tapes form my
personal porn collection. I wrote a review, found that I liked it and posted it
to asm. The feedback was positive and I just kept writing. I found it a great
way to get me started each day, writing about something I enjoyed and pretty
soon, people were asking me to review their films and work on a web site. The
rest, as they say, is history.
Q: Who was your favorite interview and why?
Totally depends on the criteria for 'best.' I would say that the recent
Tom Byron interview may be the best one I have done.
Not through any skill on my
part, but because Tom had the most say about porn over the last decade and a
half. He was honest, complete and not afraid to answer even difficult questions.
Other interviews that I liked in this vein were with
Patrick Collins of Elegant
Angel,
Jessica Darlin
and Kahn Tusion after his 'Rough Sex' controversy. I also
greatly enjoyed getting to interview both
Ginger Lynn and
Marilyn Chambers. They
are legends and as such, added much to this page. On a personal note, I had the
most fun with Leanni Lei.
Her interview is very, VERY memorable and I think
shows just how fun and sexy this woman is. Similar interviews with
Samantha Stylle,
Trinity and
Stryc-9 (Cherry Mirage) have also been a lot of fun for
obvious reasons.
