BRITTANY ANDREWS PREMIERES TWO MAINSTREAM FILMS AT THE L.A. INTERNATIONAL FILM FEST

The Los Angeles International Independent Film Festival will open their festival this Friday with two new mainstream films produced by adult film superstar Brittany Andrews. Trick of the Witch a full length supernatural thriller and Crumble an award winning arthouse short film.

“I’ve worked so hard on both films. I’m so excited to have the Premieres for both of them back to back to open the festival. It’s an honor and the fact that Crumble is also winning an award is icing on the cake. It’s going to be a fabulous evening. I’m looking forward to sharing these two gems with everyone. So come out and celebrate the evening with me! It’s going to be a lot of fun!”

The Red Carpet event will take place at 8:00pm on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Culver Plaza Theater in Culver City. A private after party and reception will follow after the screening of Trick of the Witch.

The short film Crumble will begin the evening. The film is a gritty tale about a hooker and a Manhattan Upper Eastside trophy wife that develop an unlikely relationship. It’s about two women’s journeys through self-discovery and eventually out of the “boxes” that have imprisoned them for so many years. “Crumble” stars Oksana Lada (The Sopranos) and Steven Bauer (Scarface, Traffic). With greed, lust, addiction, chaos… the film pays homage to the underworld of New York City and ends with a surprise twist sure to please even the most discerning fan of the genre. The writer/director Renata Bialkowska will be Awarded Best Directorial Debut at the festival.

The feature length film Trick of the Witch will follow. The film centers on a group of fashion models fighting an evil witchcraft curse while stranded at a secluded mansion during a photo shoot. The film stars indie starlet Share Cherrie (Superstar Female Serial Killer), Suzy Cote (TV’s CSI, The Guardian) and Gia Franzia (Rattle Basket, Special dEaD). Witch marks the fourth theatrical feature film release by cult indie director Chris Morrissey (Lipgloss Explosion!). The theatrical release of Trick of the Witch will begin in Los Angeles on February 25, 2011 through Andrews mainstream distribution company Discipline Filmworks. New York and additional cities will follow in March/April 2011.

The Bi-Coastal Los Angeles International Independent Film and Video Festival is one of the largest independent film festivals in the world. The festival was founded in 1993 and has been recognized by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the independent festival circuit. The festival hosts film, music and art events in the two entertainment capitals of the United States: New York and Los Angeles.
