Deep Breaths, Weekend Fun & Stuff

Something in the Air I know that it’s kind of a slow time in porn right now. Nothing is really going on, the news is bad on all fronts and people are bored. Apparently that means that we have to stir up a bunch of drama in every corner. As most of you already know, I sat through two waves of Hurricane Skeeter this week. Spent enough time on that, so unless I can come up with something amusing about it at my own expense, I’ll move on to feud two. It seems that Scott Fayner (www.LukeFord.com) did a little web surfing to check out what people are saying about him. (My good friend Jeff from www.IAFD.com calls it “vanity searching.”). He found some stuff that Monstar (www.ContactPornStars.com) posted in 2005. That brought about a strong wave of hate that Monstar replied to over on www.XXXPornTalk.com. So what’s in the air guys? Why all the negative energy? Don’t make me bust out the Rodney King quotes, but is there some reason everything we say to and about each other has to be so fucking negative?

Eye Candy: Nothing negative about this. Blonde Starla getting her first taste of big cock. We should all get along as well as she does with these guys.

World Series of Pop Culture: Is anyone watching this show? Anyone other than me that is? I TiVo it and watch it every night as I finish up my work. It is frightening how much some people know about pop culture and even more frightening when I find myself hitting somewhere around .900 on these questions. If they had a porn category I might just have to break down and try out next year. What would I call the team though? Oh it boggles the mind I tell ya.

Eye Candy: In case you haven’t seen Natasha Nice, check her out. Here she is in a gallery from www.Interracial.com

Objective Vs. Subjective: When we hose off a lot of the bull shit going on, there is a recurring issue that we can talk about again. Some people embrace the idea that some people should review porn (or anything) without interjecting personal preferences into the discussion. Others would argue that by its very nature, porn can never judged without subjective input. What do you guys think? Does it matter to you if a reviewer already likes a certain star? Doe it matter to you that he (or she) isn’t personally turned on by certain types of porn? Does this information help you when reading the reviews? Does anyone really think that reviewers who put their personal tastes right out there for readers to see are doing so out of ego rather than to provide a baseline for the readers? If you like lesbian movies and read a review written by someone who hates them, would it help you to know then before writing the movie off based on an unexplained bad review? Send in your thoughts or throw them up in the forum. I think it’s a very interesting topic. At least we can have a good conversation about it.

Eye Candy: Some housewives just can’t stay away from strange dick. That’s what makes Hotties from www.HousewivesAdventures.com so much fun to watch.

Reader Email: OK, I got a bunch of email this week that would only add fuel to a fire that should just die out. I did get one quote though that I love. It seems to apply to so much of what goes on out here on the web. I think it sums up my feelings about arguing anything with anyone on the internet. File it away in the “words to live by” folder.

Hey Rog: Just remember the old saying. “Don’t ever mud wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.”
