Rogreviews.com Fantasy Football Week 1 Wrap Up

Fantasy Football Week 1 Wrap Up:

Week one of the NFL season is in the books and fantasy football owners everywhere are over-reacting to fortunes and misfortunes. I will be posting updates as I can during the season. I hope they are fun. If anyone in, or out of the league wants to have a little fun writing one, please let me know. Also we are always looking for eye candy and cheerleaders for our league. Send over a picture or two and I’ll post it along with links to your site, cam page or whatever. In fact, the link below to Streamate has plenty of cam models. This is an open request to any cam model who wants to be added to our fantasy football updates to send something in.

RogReviews.com League 1: Year seven started out well for last year’s defending champs as Rog’s Potatoes team put up a league high 160 points to down Harris’ well-named TDs and Beer team. Led by Adrian Peterson, the Potatoes scored a 58 point win which was good enough for the second largest margin of victory in week one. Sheldon Brown’s ASSasins whipped the Kangaroos by an appropriate 69 points for the biggest win of the week. The best game of the week saw Joseph’s Ginger Lynn Classics taking down Cody Bangs’ Tanner Amayzeings by a mere two points.

Interesting League Fact: In the first six years of the league, there have been six different champions.

Interesting League Fact #2: The top two scoring players in week 1 were Payton and Eli Manning.

RogReviews.com League 2: Good start to the season for Tim’s Intimidators (Formerly known as the Angry Titties) as he rolled to a win and piled up a league high 134 points. There were no close games this week, with 18 points representing the smallest margin of victory. Not surprisingly the two teams (Al’s Beach Stars and Sheldon’s ASSasins) with the Manning brothers both posted wins.

Interesting League Fact: None. Right now there is nothing at all interesting about this league. Come on folks, let’s step it up.

2008 RogReviews.com League: The season started out well for 2 time defending champ Mark Riley and his Obnoxious A-Holes as they rolled to a 37 point win on the strength of Demaryius Thomas and his 33 points. Aly Sinclair lived up to her name, using the Manning brothers (2 QB set up) in “Powning” Rog’s Asa Akira Pure Perfection team despite a whopping 163 points from Rog. (Good for second best in the league this week, but not enough to beat Aly.) The first grudge match of the year went to Bono’s StarkWinterisComing as he defeated Willie D’s Whippit Goods by 9 points. These two will surely shed blood later in the seasons.

Interesting League Fact: This league was once won by Gary Rule who has since been revealed as a pathetic little fantasy football cheat. The league is glad to be rid of him. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

That’s all for this week. Anyone who feels like writing a wrap up of the three leagues is welcome to step in. We are also looking for any eye candy that ANYONE wants to send in. We will promote you, your site or anything. Just fire it over.
