Burning Angel Wins Most Outrageous Sex Scene Award for Repenetrator
New York, NY – January 17th, 2006 Joanna Angel and BurningAngel.com, the originators of punk-rock porn, have wrapped up their first AVN Expo, and will not come home to New York empty handed. The company took home the Most Outrageous Sex Scene Award for their movie Repenetrator. Joanna was lucky enough to also present the Female Performer of the Year award and the Best Director award at the 2006 AVN Awards.
Joanna Angel spent all 4 days on the floor signing for such companies as Pulse Distribution, VCA Pictures and Adam & Eve. “This was such an incredible experience for me. Joanna spoke on the “Building a Buzz” panel, held during the AVN Expo. This was Joanna’s first experience speaking in front of an audience of people solely involved in the adult industry. “I was told by one of the other panelists that I was the most interesting and insightful person in the discussion, which certainly made me feel good about the experience.” Afterwards, Joanna was approached by many people, asking her advice about their start-up businesses. Joanna was also asked to participate in panels at the upcoming LA Erotica expo and the South by Southwest Music festival held in Austin, Texas.
Joanna met a couple special fans in Las Vegas as well. Two BurningAngel diehards traveled all the way from Baltimore, and stood in line for hours so they could obtain Joanna’s autograph on their home made “burningangel.com rocks” t-shirts with “I Love Joanna” written on the sleeves. “They were so sweet! I felt so special.”
