Fan Faves Round 2 Wrapped Up

Well round two is finished and the polls have already become a bit of a farce. After last year’s balott stuffing I didn’t think it could get any worse.

Clearly this poll needs to be changed. It is no longer a true Readers Poll. It is now just a random internet poll that reflects nothing. The Best Female Performer award has become a “Girl With the Biggest Mailing List/Web Site” award. The Best Male Performer poll has become a “How Can We Stuff For Peter North Award” Enough of that bitter crap, let’s recap the brackets shall we.

Starting with the only award that no one cares enough about to cheat in, we’ve got few surprise for the elite eight “Most Wanted Celebrity” names.
Two time champ Britney Spears grabbed more than 50% of the votes to move into a bracket that includes pop princess Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and perhaps the top contender for her crown, Anna Kournikova. The other foursome includes bracket winners Jennifer Love Hewitt and Natlie Portman as well as second place finishers Angelina and Alyssa Milano. The top two finishers from each bracket will move on to the final four. Look for a pop star clash for the top spot in bracket one with Jennifer Love lapping her competition in bracket 2.

Anabolic grabbed nearly half the votes in their bracket to move one step closer to another title. They will face strong newecomer Red Light District as well as surprising second place finishers Digital Sin and Vivid in bracket 1. Bracket 2 has power house companies Evil Angel and Diabolic taking on Private and Wicked. This week should spell the end of the line for the feature companies as the raincoaters come out in full force.

Jules Jordan and Vince Vouyer come in as top seeds in a power bracket that also includes past winner Tom Byron and Mike John. Pierre Woodman moved into bracket two to join three Evil Angel directors, John Stagliano, Rocco Siffredi and Joey Silvera. Don’t be shocked if the final four consists of 3 Evil Angel directors and one wild card.

After some voting problems, Jodie Moore took the top spot in her bracket setting her up to face Shyla Stylz, Taylor Rain and Avy Scott in a strong bracket for Best Newbie. Judy Starr was helped by some invalid votes but dropped to bracket two when she finished behind Jodie on the legitmate ballots. She now faces Ashley Blue, Jessie J and the beautiful Cameron. These are tough to call but don’t be shocked it the strongest rookies, Scott, Jessie and Cameron get aced out of spots in the final four.

Best Male is where it starts to get funny. Lexington Steele easily advanced to face second place finishers Tom Byron and Mark Davis. Peter North was aided by the same forces that tried to cheat him to the top last year. That left Erik Everhard second in his bracket and pushed him into a race with Rocco, Vince Vouyer and Mr. Marcus. Lex, Erik, Davis and Rocco should square off in the final four, but look for some more funny business to try and change that.

Last and now least in terms of credibility is the “Best Female” poll. Bracket one had an extra name after a mistake left Bisexual Britni off the list for round one. She rallied her web forces and took the bracket over Monica Sweetheart. Fan favorite Belladonna got the shaft after a great first round. Bracket two also has the net fans pouring in to tilt the scales to last year’s champ Jenna Jameson. Aurora Snow finished second and was spared the farce of a vote that cost Gauge her spot in the elite eight. Silvia Saint finished a distant fourth in the bracket. These two will face off with second place finishers Sky Lopez (Who snuck by April during the weekend) and Tera Patrick. Sky finished second to Jenna Haze while Tera was defeated by some more phantom “readers” who pushed Briana Banks into the elite eight. Aurora and Monica will take on Jenna Haze and Briana in bracket two. There is no question that Britni and Jenna will bring in their non-reader forces to push out Sky and Tera. Aurora and Jenna Haze are easily the two most popular girls with ACTUAL READERS of this site, but they may lose out to Briana this round. Even if they win, they won’t be able to stop the outside assault.

At any rate, we’re just killing time for a few weeks until Britni and Jenna can wage another personal grudge war. Good luck to everyone still in the running. I’m not even going to bother to watch this week, but will be finalizing the Critic’s Choice Awards instead.
