SMASH PICTURES SIGNS WORLDWIDE LICENSING DEAL FOR BLIND SEX DATES

Smash Pictures is proud to announce that it has signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Get It On Digital Entertainment to distribute the reality-based dating show Blind Sex Dates on VHS and DVD. The series features a mix of amateur and professional couples who are introduced and go out on a date, which then develops into a sexual situation. The line is loosely based on the Blind Date series, but is not in any way associated or connected to the mainstream show. Quite the opposite. Blind Sex Dates picks up where the television series leaves off. It’s hosted by Bishop of Showtime’s hit adult reality series, Family Business, and features some of Seymore Butts’ girls. In fact, the last episode of Family Business focused on the taping of an episode of Blind Sex Dates.

Every tape or DVD contains three couples from the Los Angeles area. Each person is interviewed before the date, midway through, and after about their impressions. The cameras follow the couples from beginning to end, as they drive around town, go horseback riding, take karate lessons, eat dinner, and make fools of themselves, leading to the sex. There are no cutaways or soft footage of the more intimate moments. This is XXX entertainment. Nothing is scripted, nothing is rehearsed, nothing is faked. A possible cable series based on the concept is in the talking stages.
